Isabel Arruda

Research Assistant

Isabel is a research assistant at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre under Dr. Melamed looking at pregnancy and neonatal outcomes and attempting to find novel methods of care for pregnant women.

 

Isabel graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology.

 

Her research interests include studying early experiences and applying new ways of understanding healthy development in children. In the past, she worked in the Brain and Early Experiences lab at Ryerson and investigated the role of perceptual experiences in shaping infant’s preference and recognition abilities and infant’s brain activity while discriminating between faces.
