About us

The Diabetes, Obesity and Hypertension in Pregnancy Research Network (DOH-Net) is a multi-disciplinary research team of obstetrical, midwifery and maternal-fetal medicine specialists across three institutions, St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Research Institute and McMaster University.

The team’s mandate is to examine the impact of the triad of diabetes, obesity and/or hypertension (DOH) on short- and long-term maternal and infant health. To meet our objective, we are conducting a series of retrospective, mixed methods and interventional research studies, in collaboration with the Southern Ontario Obstetrical Network (SOON) and the Better Outcomes Registry & Network (BORN).
